"John Whittaker, the billionaire owner of Peel Holdings, the property group, has raised his stake in Pinewood Studios, home of the James Bond and Harry Potter movies, from 10.9 per cent to 20.25 per cent. The rumour is that the move is ahead of a bid by Mr Whittaker, who is developing a broadcast studio and office complex called MediaCity in Manchester."
